It would seem that Xigbar needs my company for something he wants to do. I'm not sure when I'll be back but I do plan on coming back after this has been finished.

It would seem the changes which occurred due to the gas were thankfully not permanent. I can see where such enhancements would come in useful, though like most things they would have their minor drawbacks. High pitched sounds would be rather painful with such hearing and reflective eyes would give one away in the dark, not to mention the light would be rather blinding besides..

All in all, I'm rather glad to be rid of the annoying tail myself and have my senses return to their normal states.

Does anyone know what the gas was which came through the hotel's vents not too long ago? Or if not what it was, where it came from or why it came about would also be appreciated.

Whatever it was, it seems to have had an varied effect on those subjected to it, though I imagine I've by no means seen its full range of ability, it has shrunk Xigbar down to possibly a third of his former stature and gifted him with ears and a tail. I consider myself rather fortunate to have gotten away with just the two minor feline additions to my body, escaping from the size altering effects of whatever the gas may have been.

I suppose the question I should be really asking is, Is this one of the referred to 'curses' cast upon the hotel's guests, or did one of the guests actually cause this themselves?

For anyone interested in trying out the meat from this city's newest arrivals, I've made several entrées out of the various dinosaur meat which Xigbar brought back with him after his hunt of the creatures. I've left them covered on the serving counters within the kitchen, if anyone decides to go check it out.

Xigbar, I don't care how how fun it looks...if you bring anything back to the room that is your size or larger which is covered in scales and/or feathers and is even remotely reptilian..let's just say I will be considerably less than pleased.

It would seem then, that this is a world previously unknown, which appears to have its' own apparent self-awareness?

Or at least I would rather believe it is the world acting through the medium of this building than think it is just this one building causing all of these seemingly senseless abductions.
